The Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) and the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Promotion Agency (APME), in collaboration with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), now call for applications for the recruitment of 6 Consultants specialized in 5S/KAIZEN. The 2-week training session will be organized in October 2023 for consultants based in the North-West, South-West, Far North, North and Adamaoua regions.
During the training, which will be conducted by Japanese and Cameroonian experts, candidates will have 4 or 5 days of lectures and workshops and 6 days of hands-on practice in a number of enterprises.
After the training, the best consultants may be solicited by MINPMEESA and APME (if necessary) as 5S/KAIZEN consultants.
— Requirements for candidates who want to become 5S/KAIZEN consultants:
a. Reside in the Northwest, Southwest, Far North, North or Adamaoua regions.
b. Be between 30 and 46 years old (as of August 1, 2023).
c. Be available to take part in the training for 2 weeks from Monday to Saturday.
d. Have a digital camera and a laptop PC with an authentic version of Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Paint and PowerPoint) installed.
At the second level of selection, candidates must bring their own computers and digital cameras to take the computer tests.
e.Have a good mastery of computer tools (Word, Excel, Paint and PowerPoint).
f.Be in good physical and mental health, able to work in a store or factory with the staff of the companies in the pilot phase.
g.Have authorization from your company or organization hierarchy

2) Candidates who pass the file review will take part in an ONLINE Zoom interview, on Monday 18th, Tuesday 19th or Wednesday 20th September 2023.
Candidates will receive their interview results by Friday, 22nd September, 2023 latest, and will then take part in a computer test on Saturday, September 30th or Sunday, October 1st, 2023 in Yaoundé.
3) Candidates must bring their (i) digital camera and (ii) laptop PC for the computer tests. Successful completion of these tests will give access to the training session.
Please note that the computer tests will take place one or two days before the start of the training session. Candidates who do not have properly functioning Laptop PCs and digital cameras will be automatically disqualified and will not be able to take part in the training session.
4) Please note that the organizer will not answer any questions related to the recruitment process of the consultants to be trained.
