After leading the 11-man Delegation of entrepreneurs to Rwanda in February 2021, following the inauguration of its Head Office in Yaounde by the MINPMEESA in February 2021, the doors of the Ministry were once again opened to this team of young Cameroonian entrepreneurs led by the Promoter of StartUp ‘Nkap Gilbert EWEHMEH.
The Promoter of StartUp ‘Nkap says it was important for them to give a concrete feedback to the Minister, supervisor of the SMEs in the country, on their experience in Kigali. Cited among these experiences, was their visit to the Rwandan development board in charge of business administration and the Rwandan Stock Exchange in comparison to the one stop shop in Cameroon and the Douala Stock Exchange. He says “they have a lot of things to learn from Rwanda”. Another reason for their presence at MINPMEESA was to seek technical support for a fruitful exchange visit from the Rwandan SMEs coming to Cameroon in June 2021 and the subsequent exchange visit of Cameroonian entrepreneurs to Kenya. This is within the framework of the StartUp ‘Nkap Business Exchange Program (SBEP).
It was with satisfaction and commendation to this team of young Cameroonians that he Minister, in the presence of the Secretary General and their close collaborators promised his Ministry’s full support towards a successful implementation of the StartUp ‘Nkap Business Exchange Program in and out of the country.
